To match the TO base plates and multipin base plates we offer, we also manufacture a large number of associated standard caps and customer-specific design variants with high precision. Resistance and laser-weldable caps as well as solder caps are available in many sizes.
Materials
Vacuum-compatible cold-rolled special steels, tinplate, nickel silver (CuNi12Zn24), stainless steels and nickel strip are processed.
Refinement
Depending on the application, the surface of the steel caps is electroless nickel-plated or tin-plated and, if necessary, coated with gold, copper or silver. Caps made of tinplate, nickel silver or stainless steel usually remain bright and are polished in a barrel finishing process.
